October 3, 1926 intrepid business men of Casa Grande, joined together and started the Casa Grande Rotary Club. Ninety-five years later, the club is still strong and providing service to the citizens of our city. To date the club raised more than $2 million for scholarships to high school graduates to attend college and during COVID the club raised more than $80,000 to provide ready to eat meals for more than 2400 families.
At today's meeting (Oct 5, 2021) the members celebrated the anniversary by learning more about the roots of the Rotary. The video " The Boys of 1905" was viewed and we enjoyed anniversary cake and stories were shared.
